Two Methods. One Standard.
At Slowpoke, we work in both machine and handpoke — because the right technique depends on the tattoo, not a default setting.
Machine tattooing is fast, precise, and ideal for bold linework, shading, and larger-scale pieces.
Handpoke is slower and deliberate, built stroke by stroke without a motor — favored for delicate, fine-line work with a softer, more organic feel.
Several of our artists work in both. The best way to find your fit is to start with who you want to work with.
